Guayusa is a highly-caffeinated tea beverage from South America drank as an alternative to coffee and energy drinks since it contains theobromine, common only found in chocolate, and L-theanine, a glutamic acid found in green tea that has been shown to reduce physical and mental stress.
Studies show that Guayusa has double the antioxidants of green tea, which bring a wonderful balance to the caffeine content naturally present in the leaf (equal to the amount in a cup of brewed coffee).
Our Summer Daze Strawberry Mint Guayusa steeps up a lovely crimson infusion with a sweet strawberry mint aroma, at first sip the balanced liquor releases a crisp crushed strawberry taste with sweet apple and a hint of cool mint lingers in the aftertaste. Enjoy hot or iced!
The Sencha green tea, originated in Kyoto, Japan, offers a more refined taste when compared with other types of green tea.
An amino acid that produces tranquilizing effects in the brain, theanine is a unique amino acid found in the leaves sencha. Theanine is quite different from the polyphenols and catechin antioxidants for which green tea is typically consumed
Sencha tea possesses a high content of antioxidants and polyphenols. These two components aid in neutralizing the harmful effects of free radicals, responsible for many dreadful diseases. The antioxidants in Sencha tea help to prevent coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis
It’s been proved that green tea is a natural way to increase your immunity. Sencha green tea has very high antioxidant properties as well as being an anti-inflammatory and anti-viral agent. Antioxidants fix the damage that can be caused by excess free radicals created during oxidation. While Vitamins C and E are well-known antioxidants, the levels present in Sencha green tea are hundreds of times more powerful than Vitamin C and twenty five times more powerful than Vitamin E when it comes to protecting the immune system. The most powerful of these in green tea are catechins.
Among many other benefits that green tea possesses are lowering high blood pressure and reducing overall cholesterol. These make green tea highly effective in preventing heart disease and strokes. Green tea can regulate blood sugar levels in people with diabetes and can actually prevent the onset of the disease.
It can also prevent and treat cancer as well as acne.
Ancient traditions involving Sencha green tea can easily become a part of any personal meditational practices used to clear and calm the mind. It also functions as a mild stimulant to aid you in focusing, sleeping or handling anxiety.
